During the day it’s filled with family fun in the form of themed restaurants, incredible toy shops and the excitement of the DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, but once the sun goes down it’s very much a place for the grown-ups to come out and play. With exceptional restaurants, upmarket shopping and the wonderful Cirque du Soleil, Downtown Disney will appeal to all age groups any time of the day or night.
Dining
One of the newest additions to the dining scene is the wonderful T-Rex Café. This dinosaur-themed restaurant (sister of the ever-popular, jungle-themed Rainforest Café) opened in 2008 and serves family-friendly meals in a fun, prehistoric-themed environment where life-size dinosaurs ‘come alive’ to the amazement and delight of both kids-at-heart! Other family favourites include well-known chain restaurants like TGI Fridays and Planet Hollywood.
